Children and Teen Classes
What types of classes are available?
We teach ballet and focus on fusion dance. In addition, we have classes for contemporary, jazz, hiphop, and k-pop and every 3 months will be a new class cycle.
What is the age range?
We accept students from ages 4.5 to 18 years old.
Is there an enrollment window?
We accept students all year long on a rolling basis.
What is the maximum class size?
For every kids' class, we limit the class size to 12 and group kids by age.
Are there any performances?
Every year, there is an annual recital typically in June, which will require extra rehearsals from April - June for an additional fee. If the student cannot make the recital, the teacher must be informed in January. Additionally, we perform in competitions which will also have a separate rehearsal and fee schedule than the normal classes.
When are the studio breaks?
We do not hold class on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, and the week following our annual recital.
What is the education level of the teachers?
Every teacher has at least 10 years of dance training. All teachers must at least have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance while most have a Masters of Fine Arts.
What does the monthly and $200/10 class card cover?
With a monthly card, you can take as many yoga and dance classes as you want! The $200/10 class card must be used in 3 months. Also, all workshops are $5 for our members and coming to 10 classes in one month and posting on social media will get you one free workshop!
What is the age range for adults?
There is none! All ages are welcome in adult yoga and dance and we are very beginner friendly.
What are some details of the yoga class?
We offer vinyasa (not bikram) and power yoga. Since our vinyasa yoga class temperature gets up to 90 degrees, please do not drink alcohol before coming to class. Please bring your own water bottle and towel to class. Also, we have yoga mats for a $1 rental fee.
What are some details of the dance classes?
Comfortable shoes are necessary for the dance classes! For adult k-pop, either the instructor or class majority will decide the song.
Is the studio available for rental?
Yes, Studio A is available for $25 an hour for practice and rehearsal and $60 an hour for teaching. Studio B is $20 an hour for practice and rehearsal and $50 an hour for teaching. Check the class schedule for availability. Please call or email for more information.
